New Path Community Housing

2200 Fairview Ave, Boise, ID 83702

New Path Community Housing, Idaho’s first Permanent Supportive Housing development, is a result of a comprehensive collaboration between many agencies, including Idaho Housing and Finance Association, the Boise City/Ada County Housing Authorities, the City of Boise, Ada County, St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Alphonsus Hospital, CATCH, and Terry Reilly Health Services. The developers, TPC and Northwest Integrity Housing Co., received 9% LIHTC in a special PSH set-aside in September 2016, and project-based vouchers from the BCHA in January 2017, and celebrated the grand opening with numerous stakeholders in November 2018.

New Path is located very close to the downtown Boise core. With access to transportation, supportive services, and community amenities, it provides 40 units of permanent housing for the most vulnerable populations, including the chronically homeless. This project includes a community room with a kitchen, on-site management, case management offices for the supportive services, an exercise room, a bicycle repair kiosk, and dog park.
